Traveling to Santa Fe
Camp Marafiki¹s home is Santa Fe, New Mexico. Located at the southern reaches of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 7,000 feet, Santa Fe is blessed with a mild four season climate. Summers are warm, but with low humidity which makes it comfortable to run even in the middle of the day. Santa Fe is renown for its summer festival and world famous Opera. Despite its small size, it is the third largest art market in the United States and is replete with galleries and wonderful restaurants. Its history is ancient, and its Native American, Anglo, and Spanish roots are evident throughout the city.
Santa Fe is served by all major airlines into Albuquerque International Sunport, as well as Amtrak Rail Lines.
All transportation will be provided during the camp sessions.
We will pick you up from Albuquerque International Sunport or the Amtrak Train Station for arrivals Sunday, July 28th and drop you off for departures Sunday, August 4th, 2013. If you plan on arriving early or departing at a time other than above, you will need to arrange separate transportation to Santa Fe. Please call us and we will help to arrange this.
